Listening jazz music, singing in small jazz clubs, writing my lyrics on beautiful melodies, teaching all I know about jazz to knowledge-hungry guys: these are a few of my favorite things.
When I was a kid on Sunday morning I listened Frank and Bing Crosby stuff from my dad’s vinyls and believe me, I didn’t like it at all. But all that Swing was settling inside of me, ready to come out after some years.
I’m a rhythm freak too, when I bought my first pair of congas and booked my first lesson I was the happier guy ever! That was one of the most useful experience for my singer’s career I ever did.
But there is one thing I love the most: I like to tell stories. My own ones, and the many wonderful written by jazz composers. And that’s what I do in my gigs, and in my last Cd “Words” . I tell my stories, ‘cause I know that those can be everybody’s ones. Yours.
